About Me

I’m Samantha

I am a Surface Pattern Designer

I am half Cambodian and was born and raised in Ohio. I married my husband in 2006 and we live in Saratoga Springs, Utah, where we are raising our four wonderful children.

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Media with an emphasis in Web Design, but it was during my studies that I discovered a deep passion for Graphic Design. This passion led me to spend many fulfilling years working in Digital Design for various companies and freelancing, where I specialized in branding for small businesses.

I was always fascinated by the world of Surface Pattern Design and seeing my artwork on products. I decided to take the leap in 2000 to explore this different side of design when I enrolled in a Surface Design Immersion Course. Since then, I’ve dedicated myself to the art of creating repeating patterns for products, a career path that continues to excite and inspire me every day.
